You will receive a renewal application from the state Nursing registry approximately 2-3 months before your license is due to expire. You will need to show proof of being paid for at least 8 hours of CNA work in the last 24 months.
If you can't, (this means you have become "inactive" on the state nursing registry)you will need to pay a fee of $65.00 for one part of the two part test; or pay a fee of $75.00 to retake both sections.
Your CNA license is valid for 2 years from the last time it was renewed.
As long as you are still holding active status on the nursing registry, there is no cost to renewing you Indiana CNA license.
