How do I renew My CNA license in Louisiana?

You will receive a renewal form about 90 days prior to license expiration. You will need to show documentation of having worked a minimum of 8 hours as a CNA in the last 24 months or you will need to retake the written portion of the CNA Entrance Exam.

Your CNA license is valid for 2 from the last date of renewal or certificat completion.

Providing you have not become inactive (this means you have not worked a CNA for OVER 2 years), there is no cost to renewing your Louisiana CNA license.
