A mailed recertification form will be sent out to the CNA 2- 3 months before your license expiration date. You may also contact the state board of nursing and complete an online renewal request form. You must also show notarized proof of employment for at least 8 hours as a CNA since your last license was issued.
Your license is valid for 24 months from the date that your current license was issued. You can always go to the state CNA registry to double check. Don't worry...we made sure to get you the link.
There is no fee or costs for renewing your Nebraska CNA license. You will however need to pay to retake the CNA entrance test if you have become inactive on the state registry.
