You will receive a pre-printed renewal application from the state board of nursing 2-3 month prior to the expiration of your CNA license. You will also need to show proof of being employed a minimum of 7 hours in the last two years as a CNA.
Failure to do so will result in you needing to retake the state nursing entrance test.
Your Vermont license is valid for 24 months from the last time you renewed your license. You may renew up to 90 days early. You can check the expiration date of your license online throught the state CNA registry.
There is no cost to renewing you Vermont CNA license.
