LPN ProgramsLPN Program Details
Applicants wishing to apply for admission to Ambria College Practical Nursing Program must complete the four general admission requirements.
1. Pass the entrance exam.
The entrance exam assesses your academic readiness for the practical nursing program. It's consisted of four sections: math, reading, science, and english. The exam is 4 hours long. Review sessions are available.
2. Complete a CNA Training Program.
Applicants must be certified by IDPH and names must be active on the nurse's aide worker registry.
3. Complete four required pre-requisite courses.
Applicants are required to complete four general education courses. These courses are offered at the Ambria main campus. Classes take place twice a week for 8 weeks.
4. Put down a deposit.
Applicants approved for student financial aid are NOT required to put down a deposit.
