The Vocational Nurse Diploma prepares students to be eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) in order to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Students will possess the skills and working knowledge necessary to obtain employment in entry-level positions in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and physician’s offices. Additionally, graduates will be knowledgeable about body systems, body growth and development, proper client care, client care assessment, nursing procedures, and medication administration.
