ADN Program Details
A career in registered nursing offers personal enrichment, satisfaction and a competitive salary. The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics ranked registered nurses first among health care occupations expected to have faster growth and higher earnings through the year 2016.
Graduates who complete the 70-credit program earn an Associate of Science degree and gain eligibility for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). For the past 10 years, our graduates have exceeded national and state pass-rate averages.
LPN Program Details
A career in practical nursing offers personal enrichment, satisfaction and a competitive salary. The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics states that employment for LPN's is expected to grow about as fast as average for all occupations through 2014 as a result of the long-term care needs of the increasing elderly population.
Students who complete the 41-credit LPN program will be awarded a certificate. The LPN program is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
Successful graduates of the Practical Nursing program are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination-PN (NCLEX-PN). Upon successful completion of this exam, graduates will be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
