The Associate Degree in Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Nursing is awarded upon successful completion of the associate degree nursing (ADN) program. Arkansas Northeastern College Associate Degree Nursing Program is committed to providing students the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become a Registered Nurse. The ADN program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The Associate Degree Nursing program is offered at ANC Burdette Campus and the Paragould Campus by distance learning.
Admission to the ADN program is open to all students meeting selective admission criteria: Arkansas Northeastern College operates under a nondiscriminatory policy with regard to race, color, age, religion, sex and national origin. A thorough understanding of the curriculum, policies and standards underlying the ADN Program is essential for goal-directed behavior and ultimate success in the completion of the nursing program.
