ADN Program Details
Graduates of the ASN program are prepared and eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN), developed by the used by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing to determine whether a student is prepared to become an entry level nurse. A graduate who passes NCLEX is awarded a nursing license and becomes a registered nurse. (RN).
The Division of Nursing announces a curriculum realignment for the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program beginning Fall semester 2011. The change incorporates the latest occupational standards and has been approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
