In this program, you will:
-Learn nursing fundamentals, human anatomy and physiology, psychology, and a holistic perspective of the human body.
-Develop the knowledge, attitudes, and the full range of nursing skills essential to the practice of professional nursing through active, participatory and culturally diverse learning in the classroom and in clinical settings.
-Become a critical thinker and problem-solver with an appreciation for the moral, ethical, and cultural dimensions of the issues you will confront daily in the health care system.
-Be eligible to take the licensure examination to become a registered nurse (RN) upon successful completion of the Associate Degree in Nursing program.
The Michigan Board of Nursing may deny RN licensure to an applicant who has been convicted of a crime or is addicted to drugs or alcohol.
