LPN ProgramsLPN Program Details
When you enroll in the Practical Nursing Program at the BTEC you will begin your exciting, year long curriculum learning basic nursing knowledge along with clinical practice. This Missouri State Board accredited program will prepare you to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam. Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN exam will give the student the title of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Typically, LPN’s care for patients whose conditions are considered stable, giving direct patient care; observing, recording, and reporting; administering treatments and medications; and assisting in rehabilitation procedures. They receive direction from a Registered Nurse or a licensed physician.
