The Practical Nursing diploma program at Brown Mackie College – Northern Kentucky in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, combines classroom instruction and clinical experience in the areas of medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, geriatrics, and pharmacology. Practical nursing education enables the student to acquire principles and knowledge from the biological and behavioral sciences as well as the science of nursing. It also prepares the student to pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for practical nursing.
