The School of Nursing is a two-year program leading to the Associate Degree in Nursing. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Applicants must be officially accepted into the program prior to enrolling in any nursing course. Applicants are considered on the cumulative GPA of prerequisite courses, ACT scores and/or NLN pre-Admission Examination. Transfer students will be accepted on a case by case basis.
The program prepares the graduate to function and practice in a variety of positions and clinical settings. The program’s goal is to graduate competent, qualified, caring and compassionate nurses.
