Nursing Programs Offered

ADN Program Details

Students accepted into the ADN program will be admitted Fall Term on the CB campus. The deadline for students applying to the ADN program is April 1.

Minimum requirements:
Compass Reading Score of 76 or Higher
Official TEAS V Score as of Fall 2011
GPA of 2.5 or Higher on last 24 Sem. Hrs.
Eligible for ENG 101
Eligible for MTH 116 for LPN or
MTH 100 or Higher for RN
Eligible for BIO 201

TEAS V Testing

The TEAS V Exam will be used in assessing the academic readiness of nursing program applicants. The exam measures skills in reading, mathematics, science, English, and language usage. The score on this exam will be utilized in calculating points for (potential) admission into one of the nursing programs offered at CACC.
TEAS V may only be taken 2 times per admission cycle and students must wait 6 weeks to retest. CACC will only accept TEAS V results no older than 3 years. If the exam is taken at another institution, CACC will only accept official TEAS scores from ATI. The cost of the exam is $35.00; missed exams are non-refundable.
All individuals preparing to take the TEAS test must create an ATI account. You may create an account by going to ATI website at http://www.atitesting.com and click on create a new account then follow the screen prompts. You will need your ATI username and password to take the test. Please bring this information with you to the testing location.
Two documents are included, How to Create a New Account, and How to Register for the TEAS Test. Please refer to these as needed.
