LPN Program Details

While some professions have experienced a decrease in jobs during the recession, experts say the demand for careers in the medical field remain stable. Many health care students feel it’s an industry they can depend on. In fact, some Central Tech students have commented that it’s an industry that will “last forever,” it’s “safe,” and it takes a “short timeframe to become certified.”

This program is divided into three levels.

-Level I is devoted to teaching basic sciences and basic patient care.
-Level II prepares the student to perform more advanced nursing skills along with medication administration.
-Level III focuses on obstetrical nursing and disease processes.

Classroom instruction and clinical experience are conducted in area health care facilities utilizing a wide variety of clinical sites to provide students with excellent hands-on nursing experiences.
