LPN ProgramsLPN Program Details
Vocational Nursing is an intensive program approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. The Program’s hours include anatomy and physiology, psychology, nursing theory, and supervised clinical nursing experiences.
Concepts of the fundamentals of nursing, geriatrics, nutrition, and pharmacology are integrated in the first semester of the Program. Nursing care of clients with varied adult medical-surgical conditions is integrated throughout the three semesters of the program.
Course content also includes concepts of normal obstetrics and pediatrics. After successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to take the licensure examination provided by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCLEX-PN).
