LPN ProgramsLPN Program Details
Coastal Bend College offers a traditional program that begins in the fall of each year. The successful student will be eligible to apply to the Board of Nursing for licensure.
Prerequisites: High school graduate or GED.
Potential students:
a. Must take and pass the TEAS exam with a 65 or better.
b. Must have a clear background check by the Board of Nursing or have a completed Declaratory Order from the Board of Nursing
c. Must have a negative drug screen
d. Must submit a completed application by the posted deadline date.
Students who pass the TEAS exam will receive an application to the program. The completed application will be scored by the selection committee. Those students with the highest scores, a negative background check, and negative drug screen, will be offered admission.
