The Vocational Nursing Program combines classroom, laboratory, and supervised clinical experience to prepare graduates for employment in the health care field.
Vocational Nursing is a one year program. It begins in the first summer semester. Approximate cost for the program is $6,000. This covers the cost of tuition, books, uniforms, and lab fees. Students are responsible for their own transportation to clinical sites. Students living outside of Bee County are subject to out-of-district fees as outlined by the college catalog. Financial Aid may be available. Contact the Financial Aid office for information. The financial aid package should be processed as far in advance as possible. Several scholarships are available.
Entry into the Vocational Nursing Program is contingent upon the following:
1. Completed high school transcript or GED
2. Successful score on Nurse Entrance Test (NET)
3. Completed application packet
4. Selection by the Admissions Committee
