BSN Program Details

Our Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program prepares graduates for entry-level professional nursing practice in both hospital and community-based settings. We have variations of our traditional program curriculum that help meet the needs of students with various interests, including a pre-med nursing curriculum, ROTC and study abroad opportunities.

MSN Program Details

Creighton University School of Nursing offers a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a major in nursing dedicated to preparing nurses with advanced knowledge and skills to respond to challenges in the health care system and assume leadership in managing quality, cost-effective care.

Accelerated BSN Program Details

Creighton University School of Nursing's Accelerated Program is designed for students who already have a non-nursing bachelor's degree. When you choose this program, you can earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in just 12 months. You will attend class full-time as this program offers a rigorous one-year curriculum.

Accelerated Nursing Program graduates consistently exceed national pass rates on the Registered Nurse (RN) licensure examination.

Creighton admits students into the Accelerated Program on a rolling basis. As soon as an application is complete, it is reviewed by our admissions committee. Admissions decisions are made quickly, and our programs may fill rapidly. This is why it is important to apply as early as possible. Each class has an established maximum enrollment of 48 - 56 students.

Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Details

Creighton University School of Nursing is the first in the state to offer the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, the highest level of preparation for clinical practice. Noted for innovative programs that keep pace with the ever-changing field of nursing, Creighton has earned a national reputation for providing excellence in nursing education and commitment to service. With less than 100 nursing schools offering the DNP degree, Creighton is among the universities setting the standard. The DNP is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice, and offers an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. The DNP is a professional doctorate, such as a doctor of pharmacy, doctor of physical therapy or doctor of medicine.
