The Associate Degree Nursing Program at the Stanton Campus prepares a graduate to take the National Council Licensure examination for Registered Nurses.
The program enrolled its first students in 1973 and has graduated over 2200 nurses. Most are working in Delaware.
In 1977, the nursing program was granted accreditation and continues to be fully accredited through the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

Our job placement rate has averaged between 95% and 100% within six months following graduation. Our largest employer is Christiana Care Health System followed by St Francis Hospital, DuPont Hospital for Children and long-term care facilities.
Most of our graduates seek employment in New Castle County. Our highest employer is Christiana Care Health System. Other graduates are employed by
St. Francis Hospital, du Pont hospital for Children and Delaware Psychiatric Center. More and more of our graduates are obtaining positions in community nursing agencies.
