The four-year bachelor of science degree (BSN) prepares graduates for the state board examination and entry-level practice. This program has a strong liberal arts foundation correlated with professional nursing courses. Students begin clinical courses in the sophomore year and complete a variety of clinical experiences before graduation.
A special curriculum designed for licensed RNs who wish to complete their BSN capitalizes on their knowledge and experience.
All programs offered by the Nursing department are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and registered by the New York State Education Department.
Three graduate nursing programs that lead to a master of science (MS) degree are: the Family Nurse Practitioner program, Choice of Clinical Focus, or Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health.
