BSN Program Details
George Fox University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is built upon a liberal arts foundation and Christian principles. Accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, our BSN graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Students have the opportunity to engage in learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Clinical experiences take place in a variety of acute care and community healthcare institutions and agencies and allow students to gain valuable experience in professional nursing practice.
Our nursing program offers students the opportunity to prepare for areas such as acute care, cardiology, emergency, home care, hospice, obstetrics, oncology, pediatrics, school nursing and medical missions.
The goal of the Department of Nursing is to develop competent, professional nurses who will:

-Serve as leaders in providing holistic health care to a global community
-Foster an attitude of lifelong learning
-Be prepared for graduate education
