HCTC offers this two-year program leading to the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing. Upon graduation, you'll be eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become registered nurses.
The Nursing Program is offered in the Bailey-Stumbo Building (UK Center for Rural Health) in Hazard and the Lees College Campus in Jackson. Clinical learning experiences are held in modern health care delivery facilities throughout the HCTC service area as well as facilities noted for their unique contributions to the nursing profession.
The Associate Degree Nursing Program prepares graduates to provide and manage client care and to become members within the discipline of Nursing.
