The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program is for Practical Nurses who wish to prepare for nursing positions involving comprehensive patient care. Graduates who pass the state licensure exams receive Registered Nurse (RN) status. Registered Nurses often go on to get their bachelor’s degree (BSN) from a four-year college or university.
Upon completion of the one-year Practical Nursing program and state licensure exams, a person is a Licensed Practical Nurse (PN).
