Nursing Programs Offered

ADN Program Details

The Associate Degree Nursing curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care to clients and groups of clients throughout the lifespan in a variety of settings.

Courses will include content related to the nurse's role as provider of nursing care, as manager of care, as a member of the discipline of nursing, and as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) which is required for practice as a Registered Nurse. Employment opportunities include hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, physician's offices, industry and community agencies.

In order to be considered for admission into the Associate Degree Nursing Program, the application must be on file, and all admission criteria met by February 1st of each year for consideration for the following fall semester.

LPN Program Details

The Practical Nursing curriculum prepares individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide nursing care to children and adults. Students will participate in assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) which is required for practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Employment opportunities include hospitals, rehabilitation/long-term care/home health facilities, clinics, and physicians' offices.
