ADN Program Details
The Associate in Science degree in Nursing (ANURS/ADN) Program is for individuals with no previous nursing education and who are interested in becoming a registered nurse. The ANURS/ADN Program can be completed within within four semesters and one summer term, after program prerequisites are completed.
LPN Program Details
The Practical Nursing (PRCN) Program at Kapi‘olani Community College is one year in length, wherein graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Achievement; after which, graduates will be trained to work as practical nurses in long-term care facilities (working with the elderly) and in home health settings (working with children).
The Practical Nursing Program prepares graduates for the National Council of Licensure Examination for practical nurses (NCLEX-PN).
