Mineral Area College offers an educationally-centered, college-controlled program in Licensed Practical Nursing. Two program entry options are available within this program: Option A (Generic) and Option B (Fast Track). They provide a total of 54 or 60 credit hours (not including prerequisites) respectively comprising a 3 semester curriculum leading to a Certificate in Practical Nursing. PN students desiring to become an RN have the opportunity to further their education without repetition of successfully completed courses and allow educational completion to occur in a timely manner.
