RN to BSN Program Details

The RN to BSN track is for individuals who are licensed registered nurses (RN) with a diploma or associate degree and wish to earn a baccalaureate degree. All required RN to BSN nursing courses are completed online. Additional courses required for graduation such as liberal studies (Dragon Core) or upper division electives are available in a variety of formats.

MSN Program Details

The Master’s of Science with a major in nursing prepares professional registered nurses for a specialty role as a Nurse Educator or an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Guidelines from national and specialty organizations were used to develop a curriculum that prepares graduates for certification examinations in specialties that require certification to practice. All required MS nursing courses are completed online.

Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Details

The Doctor of Nursing Practice is offered as a collaborative program through a consortium of four universities: Minnesota State University Moorhead; Minnesota State University, Mankato; Winona State University; and Metropolitan State University. This degree program is for nurses with a master’s degree in nursing who wish to gain the advanced clinical, organizational, economic, and leadership competencies necessary in an increasingly complex healthcare environment. All required DNP nursing courses are completed online.
