The Practical Nursing Program is the first year of the Associate Degree Nursing (PN/ADN) program and provides graduates with the skills and applied knowledge to practice nursing under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, physician, or dentist. Upon completion of the PN track of the program, graduates receive a Certificate of Achievement and graduates are eligible to take the licensure exam for licensed practical nurses (NCLEX-PN). The PN (PN/ADN) program is approved by the MI Dept. of Community Health/MI Board of Nursing (PO BOX 30018, Lansing, MI 48909; www.michigan.gov/mdch; 517-335-0918).
