LPN Program Details

The shortage of nurses continue to be of serious concern to government, health care providers, consumers and those who strive to educate those who are preparing for careers in the health career professions. The OACE LPN program is a one-year program designed to provide participants with an opportunity to become Licensed Practical Nurses. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the New York State Licensing Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX).

The program's 2010-2011 cohort is full, and we are no longer accepting applications for this year. The entrance exam for the program is the Pre-Nursing Assessment Test-PN, which is developed and administered by the Center for Nursing Education and Training (C-NET).
