The Associate Degree Nursing program plan of study is designed to prepare a practitioner of nursing, who upon graduation is eligible to:
-write the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN)
-enter the employment field as a registered nurse upon licensure by the State Board of Nursing
Student learning is supported by the fully equipped nursing skills lab in the Health Science Building; a state-of-the-art computer laboratory in the College's Learning Resource Center; and a variety of clinical experiences at area health care facilities, located within a 40-mile radius of the NEO campus.
