Applicants in each of the following groups will be ranked by application date for program selection. Selection will begin in the first group each subsequent group will be considered in selection process until selection limit is reached.
-Students who have completed all core classes with a minimum GPA of 3.0 at least one quarter prior to the program start date
-Students who have completed all core classes with a minimum GPA of 3.0 by the end of the quarter immediately preceding the program start date
-In order for a student to be eligible, all core courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
-If any core course is repeated, the highest grade earned will be used to calculate the GPA.
-Transfer courses will be averaged at the grade received from the transfer institution.
-Exempted courses will be assigned a grade based on the score of the exemption exam.
-Practical nurse grouping includes practical nursing or nurse technician. Should a student start off with practical nursing or nurse technician as his/her choice of degree, change that choice to a different program grouping, and then change it back to practical nursing or nurse technician, the most recent date of change will be honored.
