The Pine Technical College Practical Nursing diploma program prepares students to take the practical nursing licensure exam upon successful completion of classroom and clinical coursework. Classroom coursework includes Adult Nursing, Basic Nursing, Medication Administration, Psychosocial Nursing, Obstetrics/Pediatrics, and Role of the Licensed Practical Nurse classes. Clinical experiences are scheduled in long-term care, acute care, ambulatory care, public health and assisted living settings.
