The Associate Degree Nursing (integrated) curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care to clients and groups of clients throughout the lifespan in a variety of settings.
Courses include content related to the nurse's role as provider of nursing care, as manager of care, as member of the discipline of nursing, and as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) which is required for practice as a Registered Nurse. LPN's may apply for entrance into the fourth semester of the program. Employment opportunities include hospitals, long term care facilities, clinics, physician's offices, industry, and community agencies.
