The W. Howard Nicol School of Practical Nursing is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing, is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is approved by the State of Ohio Department of Vocational Education.
The W. Howard Nicol School of Practical Nursing is a one-year program that prepares graduates to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensing Examination (NCLEX-PN). Graduates of the program have a high rate of success on the Licensing Exam and, upon graduation, are employed at local hospitals, nursing homes, physicians' and dentists' offices, clinics and healthcare agencies.
