ADN Program Details

The Associate of Science Degree prepares graduates to move directly into beginning nursing positions in hospital acute-care facilities, extended-care facilities, and in other structured health care settings.

Nursing education includes extensive hands-on experience in the clinical area. Clinical nursing courses may include two clinical evenings, two weekend days, or one 12 hour day- in addition to two theory classes each week. Students may be assigned to clinical agencies within a 50-mile radius of the College.

BSN Program Details

The Division of Nursing offers a professional track Bachelor of Science Degree program for recent high school graduates. Students take science and core courses in the first year and begin the nursing sequence in the sophomore year. Upon completing their third year, students are awarded an Associate of Science Degree, sit for the national NCLEX-RN examination for RN licensure, and complete the Bachelor of Science degree in the fourth year. Students are required to pass the NCLEX-RN examination prior to enrolling in the Professional Nursing Capstone course in their senior year.
