LPN Program Details

One of the fastest growing and highest demand jobs in the nation, nursing is the career of ambitious men and women looking for a challenge with many rewards.

Rockland BOCES LPN program encompasses 1,080 hours in one year/full-time days or two years/part-time days. Students are eligible to take the N.Y.S. Practical Nursing Licensing Examination upon completion.

All levels of patient care are covered in our program as well as hands-on supervised clinical experiences at local health care facilities.

This program also gives you a solid foundation to pursue advanced college training.

Students must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma, pass an admissions examination, be a US citizen or have legal status with INS, and complete an interview process.

Admission to both programs is competitive.
