Admission to the Master of Science in Nursing program is open to all qualified men and women without regard to race, color, age, sex, or creed. The applicant must hold an RN license in the state where he or she practices nursing and meet the admissions criteria listed below that are appropriate for the academic degree that he or she holds. Applicants must complete the admission process one month prior to the intended term of entry. Required documents including official transcripts, resume (including professional education completed within the last two years), recommendations, employer verification form and statement of intent (explaining how becoming a CNL will help you achieve your personal and professional goals) should be sent to:

Unconditional Admission
A student will be granted unconditional admittance by meeting the following standards:
RN with minimum of one year of clinical experience
BSN with minimum GPA of 3.0 from a regionally accredited institution
Currently working in a clinical setting or have access to a health care facility for clinical integration and research
Conditional Admission
Applicants who do not meet the standards for unconditional admission may be admitted conditionally if, in the judgment of the Nursing faculty and the Provost, they have the potential to successfully complete an MSN program. Evidence of that potential may include the following:
RN with a minimum of one year of clinical experience
BSN with GPA less than 3.0 from a regionally accredited institution
Currently working in a clinical setting or have access to a health care facility for clinical integration and research
Provisional Admission
Provisional status may be granted to students who have not yet completed their required documentation. Students provisionally admitted must submit required documentation before being allowed to register for a second term.
RN with a minimum of one year of clinical experience
BSN with minimum GPA of 3.0 from a regionally accredited institution
Currently working in a clinical setting or have access to a health care facility for clinical integration and research
Admission documentation missing from file (i.e. entrance exam, official transcripts)
