ADN Program Details

The highly competitive Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) program at St. Catharine College in Kentucky includes two semesters of prerequisite classes including anatomy and physiology, psychology, and chemistry. The Kentucky Board of Nursing allows clinical groups to include 10 students per instructor, but St. Catharine strives to keep groups to just 7 students per instructor to allow more individual attention and interaction among students. We admit approximately 20 new students into the program each semester. In addition to their classroom instruction, students receive clinical experience in small regional hospitals as well as in large facilities in and around Louisville. Program graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN national licensing exam.
