BSN Program @ SUNY BROCKPORT

I Graduated from the BSN program in 1988. It was as wonderful as it was educational experience. The professors were very professional but also very caring. They gave every student the mentoring that they needed and they also made us strive for excellence. We had the best clinical experiences. I had friends attending other programs and when we compared our experiences Brockport surpassed the other 10 fold. I learned a lot more than I ever thought I was capable of. They had job fairs for us and I got an internship at the hospital I wanted to work at. After graduation I was hired on immediately. I went back to visit the instructors a few years after graduation--they remembered me which was a surprise considering the number of students they deal with. That showed me they took a personal interest in all of us. Would highly recommend SUNY Brockport to anyone going for their BSN! The school is awesome, it's a respected program. It's tough but when I was there they had one of the highest passing rates for the nursing boards!
