The Practical Nursing program is designed to develop the attitudes, skills, and theoretical basis for competent entry-level
practice as a Practical Nurse.
The curriculum is developed and implemented with the goal of successful graduate attainment of the program terminal objectives. The Program is 48 weeks in duration. Graduates are eligible to make application to take the NCLEX-PN Licensure examination and, upon successfully completing the NCLEX-PN, become Licensed Practical Nurses.
Texas County Technical Institute’s Practical Nursing program will provide the students with 76 credit hours of theory,
laboratory, and clinical practice.
