Nursing Programs Offered

ADN Program Details

All Applicants must have met all University admission requirements and
be officially admitted to the University.

• ALL prerequisites must be completed prior to admission.
• 2.5 GPA in all support courses AND
• 2.5 GPA in all General Education Courses AND
• No grades less than “C”
• All applicants must present documentation of a minimum of 2000 hours of work experience from an acute care setting.
• Application Deadline: March 1
• Applications must include:
• A completed UAM School of Nursing Application form AND
• A signed Abilities and Skills Form (attached to the application form)
• Letter of Recommendation from current or most recent supervisor
AND
• Official Transcripts from all previous coursework AND
• Current unencumbered Arkansas LPN license

• Criminal Background Checks and Drug Testing are mandatory upon
admission.
• If the applicant’s native language is other than English, an official transcript score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service. The required score for the paper based test is 500, the required score for the computer based test is 173 and the required score for the internet based test is 80.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.

RN to BSN Program Details
