RN to BSN Program Details

The School of Nursing RN to BSN online program offers graduates of associate degree and diploma nursing programs the opportunity to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in a timely and convenient manner. The program affords the opportunity to transfer credits from other institutions and complete required nursing courses via online instruction. While it is possible to complete all coursework online, you will have a practicum experience with a clinical component in community health that can be completed in your hometown.

Health care providers in the 21st century must be prepared to work in a variety of settings. They will need to be proficient in critical thinking, communication, political activism, case managements and the economics of health care. The RN-BSN online option was created in response to these needs. Coursework is completed online to allow for flexible schedules, while giving students access to IT support and faculty members who are experts in their field.

BSN Program Details

The University of Louisville School of Nursing offers an innovative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) curriculum designed to prepare professional nurses to work in a changing health care system. The curriculum is based on two years of lower division general studies that can be completed at any accredited university or college and one part-time semester of lower division classes through UofL that are taken at OMHS before beginning the four semester upper division nursing curriculum.

Accelerated BSN Program Details

Second degree students must present official transcripts of course work completed in their first degree. By virtue of having completed a first bachelors degree, it is assumed that many of the course requirements in the pre-professional curriculum will be complete.
