RN to BSN Program Details

The BSN (RN to BSN track) prepares the individual for generalist nursing practice. Graduates of the program receive the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

-The University of Oklahoma College of Nursing has multiple sites statewide.
-9 months of full-time study for completion. Enroll in August and graduate in May!!!
-Full-time/part-time schedules available at all sites.
-Classes offered three to four Saturdays per semester and via the Internet.
-Flexible scheduling of clinical experiences often in the student's local community or place of employment, if appropriate.
-Personal attention from a wide variety of highly qualified, experienced master teachers with master and doctoral degrees.
-Credit for 30 hours of upper division nursing course work applied following completion of 12 hours of the nursing curriculum and one clinical course at OU.

BSN Program Details

The College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to students at multiple sites throughout the state of Oklahoma. All BSN nursing courses are upper division and applicants must complete the 67 academic credit hours of prerequisite course work before enrollment in the first year of the nursing program. The nursing curriculum consists of 60 semester hours of sequenced courses incorporating theoretical (in class and online) and clinical content. Graduates of the program receive a BSN degree and are eligible to sit for the state examination for licensure as a registered nurse.

Accelerated BSN Program Details

This program is for individuals who have bachelors or higher degrees in a non-nursing major. The nursing curriculum consists of 60 credit hours of courses incorporating theoretical and clinical content. It is designed to be completed in 14 months of concentrated study. Graduates from this program receive a BSN degree and are eligible to sit for the state examination for licensure as a registered nurse.
