The Upper Division sequence allows students to receive a bachelor’s of science degree with a major in nursing. This full-time sequence offers courses at the Tampa campus and is typically completed in six consecutive semesters (after pre-requisites). Graduates may then take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
Admission to the Master's program is competitive and is based on a review of materials submitted and on the availability of adequate classroom, clinical facilities, and faculty. The applicant is responsible for compiling and submitting the complete set of materials. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying for this program:
-Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing from a regionally accredited program
-Earned a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale in all upper-level coursework while working on a baccalaureate degree.*
-Evidence of current Florida RN license in good standing.
-The Adult Nurse Practitioner/Occupational Health concentration has a dual degree with the College of Public Health (COPH) and thus additional COPH requirements may apply for that concentration.

-Scored competitively on the quantitative, verbal and analytic portions of the GRE
-Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (CRNA, NP, CNM, CNS) -Florida license needed for residencies
-National certification in area of advanced practice
-Strong record of clinical excellence
-Completion of the following Masters Nursing courses with a B or better: Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Physical Assessment, Research, and Theory
