New cohorts are admitted each year to begin in the Fall Semester (mid-August). Students will be enrolled part-time, for four consecutive semesters, completing the program the following Fall (mid-December). The RN-BS program is an ONLINE program.
Registered nurse students must successfully complete all prerequisite courses and meet all university requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree, including general education requirements. Upper division bachelor's degree requirements, including Quantitative Reasoning [QI], upper division writing intensive course(s) [CW], diversity [DIV], and international [IR] will be fulfilled in the RN-BS Program of Study.
Students will be required to attend a two day on-campus intensive orientation at the beginning of the program. Students will be assigned to clinical sites within a reasonable proximity of their home both Third Semester (45 hours) and Fourth Semester (120 hours).
The First and Second years are a sample program of study. Students may need to adjust the first two years based on availability of classes and science background. Nursing prerequisite courses are in bold. General Biology and Statistics may be waived with an AP Score of 5.

Completion of all 10 nursing prerequisite courses is required prior to entry into the program. General Biology and Statistics may be waived with an AP Score of 5. It is the applicant's responsibility to submit updated information, i.e., grades, to ensure completion of information and subsequent review of your application. All prerequisite courses must have a Grade of C or better.
