The RN to BSN program is a three semester program designed for the licensed Registered Nurse (RN) that expands on prior learning and experience to advance the professionals career mobility options.
Student admission is currently open for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semester. A separate application is required for the professional component. Students are admitted based on a minimum pre-requisite and overall GPA and space available. A minimum enrollment cohort, established by the University, is required for course offerings each semester. Admission is competitive and limited. The student completes the professional component in three semesters.
The curriculum in the Nursing program prepares students to become clinical generalists who are leaders, managers, and life-long learners who integrate research findings into their nursing practice. The graduate is prepared to plan health care for individuals, families, and groups.
This is a limited access program and acceptance to the University does not constitute admission to the upper division Nursing Program. A separate application must be made to the department.
