LPN ProgramsLPN Program Details
The WCTS Nursing program offers a one year full-time evening program. Our hours are 3pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional daytime clinical experiences on Saturdays. We are currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. The tentative academic schedule will start the first week of September and run for 45 weeks through July with an August graduation. Clinical experiences will start in October and increase as the program progresses to include long-term care, rehabilitation, medical-surgical, pediatrics, maternity and psychiatric nursing.
Admission Requirements:
-Evidence of professional behavior and attitude suitable to a nursing career.
-High School Diploma or GED as evidenced by an official HS transcript.
-Physical examination and urine drug screen.
-Current immunizations including MMR, PPD.
-Valid CPR certification.
-Criminal background check.
-Successful completion of a Basic Skills Test.
