RN to BSN Program Details

Tailored to the working RN, each class in this program is taught in a 10-week span, allowing the student to focus on fewer subjects at a time and gain a deeper understanding of the material.

West Coast University’s RN to BSN courses focus on the skills and experiences nurses bring to the educational setting. The curriculum includes nursing courses designed and delivered specifically for current RNs, along with required general education coursework. Courses are designed to develop leadership and management skills for the nursing professional.

BSN Program Details

West Coast University’s nursing courses provide students with the knowledge and professional nursing skills necessary to assist patients and clients toward an optimal level of health. The curriculum integrates critical thinking, decision-making, leadership and management techniques with moral, ethical and legal principles associated with providing outstanding care in a clinical setting. Students practice in both acute and long-term care facilities as well as in community settings.

Our 39-month program is a smart and direct route to your BSN and a nursing career thereafter. With a year-round semester system, students can begin the BSN program every 10 weeks at one of our three locations. Unlike some four-year schools, you won't compete for space in classes once accepted. The entire curriculum is structured toward a specific end date. So as long as you successfully complete your courses, your seat is reserved from the day you begin to the day you graduate.

MSN Program Details

The WCU Master of Science in Nursing degree program has been developed to provide you with the foundation to achieve your professional goals.

Whether you want to become a nurse educator or move into a leadership role, this degree program has been designed to help you be prepared. Advanced degrees are often necessary for many administrative, research, consulting and teaching positions.

This 36-credit program takes your education to another level, preparing you for more challenging career options in administrative or higher education teaching roles. Delivery of the program has been crafted with working adult schedules in mind:

-Concentrated, full-time program completion option in as few as 15 months.
-Courses offered in a blended delivery format, with students coming to campus for the first and last meetings of the 10-week term. The rest of the term instruction is delivered in an online environment.
-Three entry points per year.
-Additional Nurse Educator Certificate available (13-credit add-on program.)

RN to MSN Program Details

The RN to MSN program is designed for working professionals desiring to further their education.

This 29-month, 77-credit RN to MSN program consists of both undergraduate and graduate level courses taught at the Los Angeles campus, especially designed to allow students to pursue their education while they continue working.

-May be completed in (6) 20-week semesters. Concentrated program completion option in about 29 months.
-Three entry points per year.
-Courses offered online, on-site and blended.
-Additional Nurse Educator Certificate available (13-credit add-on program.)

By melding both undergraduate and graduate courses, this concentrated curriculum provides face-to-face and online learning. All science and clinical practicum courses are on-site.

The Master’s of Science degree nursing programs prepare graduates with enhanced nursing knowledge and skills to address the evolving needs of the health care system. Graduates of the MSN programs will be prepared for jobs requiring the following skills:
